STUDIO GHIBLI DECLARES WAR ON PIRACY WITH A TRIPLE WARNING

One of the most beloved film companies in the world is Studio Ghibli, the Japanese animation studio that has given us works of enormous beauty and charisma, and that has won the Oscar for best animated film on two occasions with ‘Spirited Away’ and ‘The Boy and the Heron’. The sale of Ghibli merchandise is constant, and the studio consists of multiple official stores, museums, and even a theme park in Japan, but some try to build on that success and take advantage of selling Studio Ghibli products without an official license. The animation studio has released a trilingual statement on its official website warning about it.
