ADIDAS WINS THREE-STRIPE TRADEMARK BATTLE
Adidas won final judgment and a preliminary injunction against a sports company that was selling soccer jerseys that strongly resembled its trademarked three-stripe design. Hall of Fame Sports Memorabilia agreed to no longer make, advertise or sell jerseys with two, three or four parallel stripes, nor Real Madrid jerseys, and its agents may not buy and resell authentic Adidas apparel.
